What first brought Josh to Radio Design Labs was a mix of timing and curiosity. After working seven years as an automotive machinist at O-R Fabrication, he found himself in the market for a new opportunity. The name “Radio Design Labs” caught his attention. He assumed it was a place that designed and manufactured radio equipment, which sounded like the perfect fit for a musician and electronics hobbyist. When he came in to apply, the press brake operator role he had his eye on had already been filled. Instead, the HR administrator asked: “How do you feel about filling boxes with epoxy?” Driven by curiosity and an openness to try something new, he accepted and has been with us ever since.Starting in the potting department, he steadily worked his way through nearly every area of operations mechanical, inspection, laser, test, assembly, packaging, pad print, shop, and coordinator, learning and growing at every step. Today, he’s a proud member of the Manufacturing Engineering Team. He credits much of his success to the support of coworkers, managers, peers, and teammates who believed in him and encouraged him to put his skills and work ethic to the test. For him, the best part of working at Radio Design Labs is the family-style environment. He truly enjoys collaborating with his coworkers and embraces the challenge of learning something new every day. Some advice that he likes to give employees and still does on occasion is "if you show up and do the best you can within your capabilities, you will have an awesome place to work for as long as you want it"
