    “HUM KILLER” Stereo Audio Isolation Transformer - Dual RCA inputs and outputs

      The AV-HK1 is a stereo transformer isolation module for use with unbalanced, high impedance audio inputs. Input and output connections are provided on gold-plated phono jacks. The AV-HK1 is supplied with two adapter cables to facilitate connecting with products that use mini-plugs and jacks. The shield connection of each INPUT jack is electrically isolated from the case and from the output ground. The shield connection of each OUTPUT jack is connected to the case shield. The user audio source, such as a computer, CD player, cassette player or other consumer audio product, connects to the AV-HK1 INPUT. The OUTPUT should be connected to the input of the grounded amplifier or mixer in the audio system. Input and output jacks are oriented left (L) and right (R) when the user is facing each end panel. The correct channel orientation is indicated on the front panel of the module. The AV-HK1 is a rugged product designed for portable use. For fixed installations, a mounting bracket is included. Many consumer audio inputs and outputs use stereo mini-plugs and jacks. The AV-HK1 includes two adapter cables to interface with these products. The cable kits are also available separately from RDL in the event a cable becomes worn or lost.
