ANALOG TO DIGITAL / DIGITAL TO ANALOG CONVERSION Broadcasters, mastering studios and system integrators rely on RDL to provide Analog to Digital and Digital to Analog converters with low distortion, low noise and flat frequency response. The HR-ADC1 provides conversion of balanced or unbalanced line-level analog audio to AES/EBU, AES-3ID or Coaxial S/PDIF digital audio formats. With operation up to 24 bits, 192 kHZ, bit depth and sample rate may be generated internally or synced to an external source. The HR-ADC1 features a high degree of metering flexibility and programmability with average mastering level and peak value storage. The HR-DAC1 was designed for the conversion of stereo (two channel) AES/EBU, AES-3ID or S/PDIF signals to line-level analog audio. With operation up to 24 bits, 192 kHz the HR-DAC1 includes automatic sample rate detection, audio output level metering, adjustable output gain and RDL’s proprietary SURE-LOKTM Auto-Recovery Sentinel to monitor possible causes of latch-up and reinitiate digital signal lock.
