Push-to-Talk Microphone Preamplifier

Some microphones equipped with a push-to-talk function may not mute and unmute as quietly as desired, or some installations (typically paging) may have a microphone which does not have a push-to-talk feature. The RDL STM-2X Switchable Microphone Preamplifier is the perfect solution when quiet on / off switching is required for dynamic or condenser microphones. When used in conjunction with a momentary switch, such as the RDL AMS-PB1, the STM-2X can be configured for either push-to-talk or push-to-cough operation. If remote on / off control with visual indication is desired, the RDL RT2(S) Remote Control Selector provides an attractive in wall user interface for operation of the STM-2X.
